Donnie Jackson has been a member of SGBC for (20) years and has served as a deacon for (15). Don’s dear wife, Ellen, passed away in September 2003 after a long battle with breast cancer. He has six children— Ben, Tim, Laura, Bonnie, Esther, and Cody– all of whom are reared in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Donnie Jackson is in charge of the Youth Group for SGBC which meets twice a month on Sunday afternoons. Under Don’s leadership, the teens and young adults have participated in several community service endeavors. In addition to being a deacon in Sovereign Grace Baptist Church, Donnie Jackson is a missionary with Bible Centered Ministries International. Don has been with BCM for the past 20 years, serving in Warren and Hunterdon Counties in New Jersey, as well as Northampton County in Pennsylvania.
